Le Bois de la Cambre – o bosque de Beech/ the Beech wood

Life has been agitated around here. I have just returned from Brussels, Belgium, where I have been due to Géraldine Langlois’  (www.geraldine-langlois.be) invitation – the photographer I met at the World Rainbow Conference last March, in England. But I wasn’t exactly on tourism, nor, I visited Bruge. This will happen, perhaps, another time…

Géraldine é uma fotógrafa renomada, com trabalhos para campanhas de direitos humanos e, também, das crianças de diversas partes do mundo.  Ela ficou muito impressionada com os resultados do projeto de ensino dos florais de Bach para crianças, realizado no Os Seareiros/Núcelo Mãe Maria em 2006, e decidiu ajudar-me a divulgar não só o mesmo, como também os benefícios que as essências florais representam para a área da educação e para a humanidade em geral.

Géraldine is a renowned photographer, with works featuring human and children rights campaigns, from different parts of the world. She was very touched by the results of the project about teaching Bach flower remedies to children, held at Os Seareiros / Núcleo Mãe Maria, in 2006, and decided to help me to spread it, as well as the benefits flower essences represent for education and for humanity in general.

Assim, nesta semana, conheci muita gente interessante, tive o privilégio de visitar um belíssimo jardim particular, de deliciar comidas saborosas e de semear novas oportunidades para a terapia floral, em termos mundiais.

 So this week, I met many interesting people besides having the privilege to visit a very beautiful private garden, to taste delightful meals and to seed new opportunities for flower essence therapy in global terms.

Como se isto já não fosse prá lá de suficiente, tive uma daquelas grandes visões proporcionadas pela natureza. Encontrei um dos maiores bosques de Beech existentes na Europa – o Bois de la Cambre, nos arredores de Bruxelas. Ainda não tinha visto uma formação assim, com tantos exemplares, mesmo aqui na Inglaterra:  árvores altas, os escassos raios de sol passando com  dificuldade por entre as copas, o chão coberto com folhas e cascas dos frutos antigos, raízes aparentes,  árvores tombadas e nem uma outra planta ousando nascer naquele espaço. Algumas, só nas laterais dos caminhos…

As if this wasn’t good enough, I had one of those great views offered by nature. Just around Brussels, I found one of the largest Beech woods of Europe- the Bois de la Cambre. Until then, I hadn’t seen a site like this, with so many exemplars, even here in England: tall trees, few rays of sunlight passing through the canopy, the ground covered by leaves and old fruits peels, apparent roots, fallen trees… and no other plant daring to grow in that space. Some, just along the sides of the roads …

Ali estava a confirmação  de tudo que aprendemos e ensinamos sobre os aspectos positivos e negativos da essência floral de Beech. Aquele bosque é o ensinamento vivo de que precisamos compartilhar a nossa Luz com os outros para não tombarmos na vida, para permanecermos vivos…

 There it was plain to see the confirmation of everything that we learn and teach about the positives and negatives sides of the Beech flower essence. That wood is the living teaching that we must share our Light with others in order not to fall in life, in order to stay alive …
